Edem currently ranked number one female tennis player in Nigeria said that she will give her best at the competition.
"My target in Glasgow is to win a gold medal in my event but if I can’t, I will ensure I come back home with another medal,” she told The Punch.
Although she admitted that she will be coming up against a tough opposition,she promised that she will give her best .
“I know some of the opponents could be tough. England and India players could prove difficult, but I have been playing this game for a long time and I’m not afraid of any opponent at the Commonwealth Games,” she said.
