Joshua Rushton, 18 is banned from touching unattended cars without express permission from the owners for the next 3 years.
He has already been caught repeatedly trying to break into parked vehicles and he was jailed for 12 weeks when he was caught by police while trying the door handles of 4 parked cars.
According to a policeman, Stephen Gilbertson, 'He doesn't own a car but he can't go past one without trying the handle or seeing if there's something in it.
'He just can't keep his hands off cars.'
