TEN years after its European edition honoured her as one of world’s ‘Heroes’, TIME magazine has named the Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, in its yearly list one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
The minister is in the “Leaders” category of the respected list, along with Chinese President Xi Jinping, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian President Vladmir Putin, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and others
Business mogul and Forbes 25th richest man in the world, President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, was also among those listed in the “Titans” category which boasts of eminent world personalities like former U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton; Chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, Janet Yellen and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
