Nigerian actress Toyin Aimaku and Lifestake Foundation founder, Aramide Kasumu speak in an interview with YNaij over how they found out the SaveMayowa fund raising plea was a scam.

Aimaku said she was contacted by Mayowa for help. She said she was sent a medical report which turned out to be fake later on. She also said that the family turned hostile when she contacted them to see the girl today, making her suspicious.
Aramide said Mayowa's brothers had planned the scam from the onset.
