The Premier League seems to be the busiest in the transfer market with series of speculations and a couple of done deals.

Here are the top transfer stories for today:

- Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, 25, has told new manager Jose Mourinho that he wants to stay at the club. (Sun)

- West Brom are ready to offer 22-year-old striker Saido Berahino to West Ham in a swap deal for Hammers forward Diafra Sakho, 26. (Mirror)

- Everton's England defender John Stones, 22, is wanted by both Manchester United and Manchester City. (Daily Star)

- Manchester City is set to announce the arrival of their second big summer signing - Schalke winger Leroy Sane, 20. (Marca)

- West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet's agent says it would take "ridiculous money" to sign the 29-year-old France international this summer. (Sky Sports)

- Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris St-Germain are among the clubs interested in signing Hammers midfielder Payet. (Sun)
