Nelsan Ellis, US actor best known for his portrayal of Lafayette Reynolds on HBO’s series True Blood is dead.
His manager Emily Gerson Saines announced his death. He told the Hollywood Reporter, "Nelsan has passed away after complications with heart failure.''

HBO released a statement saying, "We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Nelsan Ellis.''
