Two Nigerian soldiers attached to the Military Joint National Task Force, MJNTF, have been killed, with six others injured during skirmishes with Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday.
The Nigerian Air Force branch under the MJNTF also bombed 12 camps of the terrorists located along Nigeria's borders with Chad, Cameroon and Niger in air raids, Col. Muhammed Dole, spokesman for the MNJTF, said.
He added that scores of terrorists surrendered when they saw no escape route for themselves.
“Additionally, the troops of Sector 4 in Diffa Niger Republic tracked and neutralized 4 Boko Haram Terrorists suspected to have attacked the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp and Two (2) others were arrested at Tumoua village," he added.
