Former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has been appointed the new Ukraine head coach.
It is the 39-year-old's first steps into full senior management and his first match as head coach will be at home to Iceland in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on September 5.
Shevchenko joined the Ukraine coaching staff ahead of Euro 2016, succeeding Olexandr Zavarov as assistant to head coach Mykhaylo Fomenko.
