According to Oba Samuel Adelodun, Nigerian youths are lazy - they do not want to work - or they would have taken the jobs offered by the National Directorate of Employment.
Oba Samuel Adelodun, the Owalobo of Obbo-Aiyegunle in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara, says unemployed Nigerians are not utilising the opportunities offered by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
Adelodun, a former Director-General of the NDE, said in Obbo-Aiyegunle that the agency had been delivering on its mandate of providing jobs for Nigerians.
He said: “ Unemployment remains a big problem in Nigeria, but unfortunately, unemployed Nigerians are not interested in working. They don’t want to work.
