The National Youth Service Corps has signed a memorandum of Understanding with the Bank of Industry to provide loans to corps members.
Director General of NYSC, Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi, disclosed this on Wednesday when the Commandant of the Guards Brigade, Brig. Gen. Anthony Omozoje, paid him a courtesy call in Abuja.
He said the loan would assist beneficiaries of skills acquisition programme of the corps to set up their businesses after training.
“It is one thing to give them skills, if they don’t have money to set up, it is useless,” he said.
