The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase while speaking in an interview on Channels TV gave the latest updates on the Nigerian Police Force recruitment.
1. Due processes would be strictly adhered to.
2. Unlike the past recruitments which were based on political sentiments, only qualified and passionate applicants would be shortlisted this time around.
3. Technological processes have been introduced. PolyGram machines have been acquired and also drug testing kits to avoid bringing in drugs into the force.
4. Psychometric tests would be administered so as to ensure that only qualified individuals are chosen.
