A Lagos High Court in Ikeji has ordered the African Independent Television, AIT to desist from airing a documentary titled 'Lion of Bourdilion' which is allegedly based on the life of Bola Tinubu,National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Tinubu's counsel, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, had earlier filed a N150billion libel suit against AIT.
Ruling on an oral application asking the court to grant an interim order restraining AIT from airing the contentious documentary, Justice Iyabo Akinkugbe, said, ''The defendant is hereby restrained from further airing, publishing or disseminating broadcasting the documentary “Lion of Bourdilion”, pending the determination of the interlocutory application''.
