Assuage your feelings! We must try well to understand the Oba because there is no part of his statement where he cursed the Ndigbo.

We must merge together all the statements made by the royal father and not to isolate part and be sensational about it.

When it came to the prayer season of thier visit: they [the Oba & Ndigbo] break kola, pour libations and pray against enemies of Lagos.
Prior to this prayer the Oba has praised the Ndigbo as industrious and express his own hospitality toward all Nigerian.

The Oba is trying to campaign for Ambode but he's however killing him in the process. People know you're in power but you mustn't force it down their throat. That age is over in human history.

@kayode ajayi I understand what the Oba wants and means but the way he went about it is ludicrous. People will respond to you the way you approach them. So if Jimi wins, Igbos should run away from Lagos?

However, any interpretation capable of an admission to castigate the oba, must also includes clear clarifications.

All we want to know is that Ndigbos will be angry after the oba's statement. We don't want to know if the oba was angry before making his statement. May be obas don't have emotions.

@kayode ajayi - you have to understand that it is because the statement came from his highness that it carries so much weight., and many are cautious about truly expressing themselves especially the politicians from all sides. The expectations of the palace were high.
