The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will on Friday announce the release of the results of this year’s edition of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), New Telegraph reports.
The results, if released, will brighten the hope of many candidates who wrote the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, who had applied for admission to higher institutions while awaiting the result.
A source at the examination body, told New Telegraph that the decision was made yesterday at the management meeting chaired by the Head of Nigeria Office (HNO) of WAEC, Mr. Isaac Adenipekun.
