Sports We have to start playing like African Champions - Stephen Keshi

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi believes that it is time his team rises up to the occasion and play to their full potentials.

Nigeria was on Saturday beaten at home by Congo in their first game of the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers, losing 3-2 in Calabar.

And there has been so much criticisms about the performances of both the players and the technical crew, with so many believing that the Super Eagles underrated Congo.

With Nigeria taking to the pitch this evening against South Africa in Cape Town,Keshi has admitted that they have been poor and need to start showing why they are African Champions.

“We are the champions of Africa and we must start showing that not only against Bafana Bafana, but in all our remaining games,” Keshi said.
