Speaking with Radio France International, Olusegun Obasanjo, the former President of Nigeria has said the Chibok girls will never be returned intact due to the government's delay of up to 48 hours after their abduction.

He said: “We will never be able to get those girls together again. And the stories of those girls will go on for the next 30 years. Some of them will come out when they are adults or sent back when they are impregnated by their captors.”

“If anybody is thinking of getting those girls intact, he must be daydreaming.”
