The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, for his victory in Saturday’s governorship election, saying that the people of the State have made the right choice.
Akeredolu, who was declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), defeated the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Eyitayo Jegede, SAN; and candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Chief Olusola Oke.
Fayemi, in a congratulatory message by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, said Akeredolu’s victory at the poll was victory for democracy as well as the people of Ondo State who have long clamoured for change.
