Nigeria - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo's night visit to President Muhammadu Buhari was to intercede on behalf of the wife of late Umaru Yar’ Adua , a former president of Nigeria, PM News reports.
Obasanjo who visited Buhari on Wednesday reportedly discussed other matters of national interest but speculation is rife that the timing of his visit was connected with the earlier visit by Turai to Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
Turai was said to have made complaints that her family was having some problems with the “Buhari people ” . Like the late Yar ’Adua , Buhari is also from Katsina .
Like Buhari , Obasanjo has ruled Nigeria as a military ruler and civilian president.
Political analysts say Obasanjo was also very instrumental to Buhari’s victory at the polls .
