The woman who stabbed Mary J Blige's father, Thomas Blige during a domestic dispute, Cheryl White has been sentenced to one year in jail and must pay $17,290 to Mary J. Blige’s Mary Jane Productions.
White has however, served 270 days on charges of assault with intent to commit great physical harm and had pleased no contest to the charges in October 2014.
She was initially charged with stabbing Blige outside his apartment after she was caught slashing his tires.
