Nigeria pulls together a string of passes in the final third before Iheanacho is put through. He smashes in a shot which was saved.

Alex Iwobi picks out Ideye in the 18 yard box with a lovely lob. Ideye chests the ball up but is prevented from hitting it in. Mikel latches on the lose ball with a shot which is parried over the net.

Zambia gets a chance to equalize after a slip by Ndidi but Mbesuma’s effort was saved by Ikeme.

Nigeria is on the defense and Zambia is mounting lots of pressure on the Super eagles who are camped in their 18 yard box. Zambia has gone close several times but the suepr eagles are holding on.

A cross is pulled into the Nigerian box and Omeruo put up a very poor effort to nod it out. Mbesumba pounces and hits a shot into the back of the net.
