Some youths within the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have vowed to resist the alleged governorship bid by the Supervising Minister for Education, Chief Nyesom Wike.
They also threatened to withdraw their membership of the party, if the PDP at the national and state chapters of the party fail to take urgent steps to correct certain wrongs in the fold.
The threat followed a purported endorsement of Wike as the sole candidate of the PDP in the 2015 governorship election in the state by some influential members of the party.
