Alhaji Malami Yandoto, the commissioner for Agriculture in Zamfara, has resigned his appointment.
Yandoto's resignation letter dated May 20, said that he was resigning to enable him to pursue his political ambition.
Part of the letter read,"my resignation followed careful consultations with my family members and political associates and it is to enable me to concentrate fully on my political activities".
He thanked Governor Abdulaziz Yari for giving him the opportunity to serve the people.
Yandoto is aspiring to contest the Zamfara Central Senatorial District seat in 2015.
