The Zimbabwean government has reportedly put in place a taskforce to carry out raids across the country to ensure that foreign-owned retail shops abide by the country’s indigenisation law.
According to newzimbabwe.com, the taskforce - made up of indigenisation officials, police, local officials and key stakeholders - was set to make sure retail shops owned by foreigners had secured "indigenisation licences” as required by the law.
