Cynthia Morgan, a Nigerian singer, has been arrested for allegedly harassing, cyberstalking, and defaming the Crown Prince of the Benin Kingdom, sparking reactions about her mental health and respect for royalty.

Singer Cynthia Morgan has found herself embroiled in a legal battle after allegedly harassing and cyberstalking His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of the Benin Kingdom, Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare. According to court documents, Morgan, also known as Madrina, has persistently tried to contact the Prince, trailing him on his work days. When her efforts were unsuccessful, she allegedly began publishing defamatory statements against him on Instagram from 2020 until recently.

Despite warnings from the Prince's legal team to desist from defaming him, Morgan allegedly ignored them. Frustrated, the Prince filed a lawsuit against her. A video circulating online shows Morgan being apprehended by men suspected to be police officers from her home, escalating the legal tussle. The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some expressing concerns about Morgan's mental well-being, while others condemn her actions as disrespectful and illegal.
