Former Nigerian Minister of Education and 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Kenneth Gbagi, has passed away at the age of 62. The news of his demise, reported to have occurred on Saturday, was confirmed in a heartfelt statement by his eldest son, Emuoboh Gbagi.

In the statement, Emuoboh Gbagi expressed profound sadness but also gratitude to God as he announced the passing of his beloved father. Kenneth Gbagi, fondly remembered as Orogun Kenneth Omemavwa Gbagi served as the Minister of Education and left an indelible mark on Nigerian politics and society.
