In north-east London's Hainault area, tragedy struck as 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin lost his life in a sword attack. Anjorin succumbed to stab wounds shortly after being rushed to the hospital on Tuesday.

The attack, which resulted in four others sustaining injuries, including two police officers, unfolded as police responded to reports of a car crashing into a house and individuals being stabbed.

Witnesses, like James Fernando, recounted the harrowing scene, describing how the suspect wielded a sword, prompting neighbors to flee in fear. Anjorin, a student at Bancroft’s School, tragically became the sole casualty in the incident.

Holy Family Catholic School, where Anjorin's mother is employed, issued a statement extending condolences and calling for prayers for the grieving family. Meanwhile, the suspect, a 36-year-old individual, was subdued by officers using a Taser in Thurlow Gardens.

Currently hospitalized for injuries sustained during a vehicle crash, the suspect awaits questioning once deemed fit by medical professionals. As investigations continue, authorities offer support to Anjorin's family, and the community grapples with the aftermath of the devastating attack.
