In a remarkable display of solidarity and compassion, all 109 Senators of the 10th Senate have come together to donate their entire one-month salaries, totaling N109 million, to the victims of the recent drone mishap in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, made the announcement on Sunday during a visit to the Kaduna Government House with a high-powered delegation.
The delegation, led by Senator Barau, was warmly received by the state governor, Senator Uba Sani. A statement from Senator Barau's Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir revealed that the donated funds would be sent directly to the state governor for onward delivery to the affected victims.
