According to the announcement, Adebanjo died peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, at his Lekki residence. The statement, signed by Obafemi Ayo-Adebanjo on behalf of the family, described him as a selfless leader who dedicated his life to fighting for fairness, equity, and a better Nigeria.
