An Israeli airstrike on Khadija School in Gaza resulted in the deaths of 31 Palestinians, including 15 children and eight women, drawing widespread condemnation and highlighting the conflict's devastating impact on civilians.
At least 31 Palestinians, including 15 children and eight women, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Khadija School in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The Gaza government media office reported that the school, which also served as a field hospital, was struck by three missiles, resulting in over 100 injuries.
The Israeli military confirmed targeting the school, alleging it housed a Hamas command center. Hamas condemned the attack, asserting that the facility sheltered displaced civilians.
The Israeli military has previously encouraged Palestinians to relocate to "humanitarian zones," which have also been targeted, sparking international condemnation.
