    • The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme is a part of the Renewed Hope agenda. Its primary objective is to fortify Nigeria's technical talent foundation, thereby bolstering the digital economy and positioning Nigeria as a significant talent exporter.
    • The initial phase of this programme, in collaboration with NITDA, will encompass various stakeholders, including fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations.
    • The programme's first phase will operate as a fellowship model in tandem with NITDA. Interested individuals with a focus on specific skills will be selected, and the cost of their training with approved training providers will be covered.

    • For the inaugural phase, the programme will emphasize the following twelve technical skills:

      • AI / Machine Learning
      • Cybersecurity
      • Game Development

    • The average duration of the courses offered in this phase is three months.
    • The training approach is hybrid, blending online and in-person elements. While a significant portion of the training can be undertaken remotely, certain aspects necessitate in-person sessions.
    • An entry assessment will be conducted to gauge the skill level of each applicant. This assessment will also aid in determining the most suitable course for the fellows.

    • The sole financial support for this phase will be the training cost. Participants will need to bear expenses related to transportation, meals, and other incidental costs.
