Super Eagles transform with Finidi George at the helm, backed by Daniel Amokachi and two foreign coaches. Olatunji Baruwa retains goalkeeping duties as Nigeria preps for a crucial World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Nigeria's Super Eagles are gearing up for a fresh start under their new head coach, Finidi George. Joining him are Daniel Amokachi, a former player, and two foreign coaches. The goalkeeping coach, Olatunji Baruwa, is staying on from the previous setup.
Amokachi's return is a big deal as he's worked with the team before. Finidi is all in after stepping down from coaching Enyimba.
Their first game together will be a World Cup qualifier against South Africa at Uyo's Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on June 7. Fans can't wait to see what this new coaching team brings to the table!
