The All Progressives Congress (APC) has established a commanding lead, surpassing its rivals by more than 200,000 votes in the 18 declared Local Government Areas (LGAs).
Usman Ododo, the APC candidate, secures victories in 11 LGAs, while Muri Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Party (ADC) claim victories in six and one LGA(s) respectively.
The results reflect a political battleground with Ododo polling 409,450 votes, followed by Ajaka with 208,503, and Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) securing 41,925 votes. As the political narrative unfolds, tensions rise with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) adjourning the collation process for the remaining three LGAs.
