Former Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency representative, Dachung Musa Bagos, revealed that four individuals in his constituency lost their lives following his dismissal by the Appeal Court on Wednesday. Speaking on Politics Today on Channels TV, Bagos expressed the despair gripping his community, drawing a parallel between his removal and a military coup.

The Appeal Court in Abuja had ousted three Plateau State House of Representatives members, including Bagos. During the interview, he lamented the loss of hope in the system, emphasizing the shockwaves of his sacking.

Bagos likened the situation to a military coup, stating, “I was court-martialed yesterday. What happened was just like a military coup.” He highlighted the widespread public reaction and the sentiment of injustice, citing the sacking of seven National Assembly members, all from the PDP.

The gravity of the situation was underscored by the tragic consequences, as Bagos revealed, “This is shocking. Four people died because of the shock.” He recounted a heartbreaking incident where a woman, upon hearing the news, collapsed while holding a baby, succumbing to high blood pressure.
