In a distressing incident, armed men suspected to be bandits have launched an attack on the Federal University in Dutsinma (FUDMA), Katsina State, resulting in the abduction of five female students. The harrowing event transpired in the early hours of Wednesday, at off-campus dormitories located behind Mariamoh Ajiri school, close to Wednesday Market in Dutsinma.

Additionally, one individual suspected of providing information to the perpetrators has been arrested, along with others suspected of involvement in the abduction.
