Team Beta (Tjay and Ben) secured immunity from eviction in BBNaija Season 9 after winning the nomination challenge, which required balancing ping-pong balls on an obstacle course. Meanwhile, the Mbadiwe Twins and other pairs face potential eviction. The show runs until October 6, with a N100 million prize.
In the latest update from Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9, Team Beta has clinched immunity from potential eviction after a standout performance in the week's nomination challenge. The duo of Tjay and Ben, known as Beta, shone in an obstacle relay that emphasized teamwork and agility. The task required housemates to transfer ping-pong balls from one basket to another while navigating bins, with Beta achieving the highest count of seven balls.
This win ensures Beta's safety from eviction, while the Ndi Nne pair, the first to be appointed as custodians of the house, are also secure. In a surprising twist, the Mbadiwe Twins, who initially held the Heads of House (HoH) role, now face eviction, breaking with the tradition of HoH immunity seen in previous seasons.
The pairs at risk of eviction this week include Aces (Topher and Sooj), Chekas (Chizoba and Onyeka), Doublekay (Kassia and Kellyrae), Floruish (Dj Flo and Rhuthee), Nelita (Anita and Queen Nelly), Radicals (Fairme David and Michky), Shatoria (Shaun and Victoria), Streeze (Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh), Tami (Damilola and Toyosi), Wanni X Handi (Wanni and Handi), and Zinwe (Chinwe and Zion).
The BBNaija season, which spans 71 days and wraps up on October 6, 2024, will award a grand prize of N100 million to the season's winner.
