The Center for Justice on Religious And Ethnicity in Nigeria (CJREN) has alleged that Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, intentionally excluded Christians from benefiting from Federal Government palliatives distributed to citizens and residents of the state.

The Director-General of CJREN, Reverend Kallamu Dikwa, claimed that Christians were consistently left out of assistance programs, including the recent N3 billion given by President Bola Tinubu to support those affected by Boko Haram and other terrorist activities in the state.

Dikwa further accused Governor Zulum of demolishing a church in Maiduguri and called attention to the perceived disparity in returning displaced Christians to their communities compared to Muslims.

The Borno State government has not responded to these allegations at the time of this statement.
