Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, alongside federal lawmakers, attended the burial ceremony of military personnel who were slain in Delta State on March 14. The solemn event took place at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Wednesday, where the fallen heroes were laid to rest.
The bodies of the deceased were transported by Military Ambulance Emergency vehicles, accompanied by FCT Ambulance Emergency services. The ceremony was attended by grieving relatives and relations of the fallen soldiers, as well as wives of other military officers.
The somber occasion served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by these brave men in service to their country. Deputy Senate President Barau's presence, along with that of other lawmakers, underscored the nation's solidarity and respect for the fallen heroes and their families.
