Dangote Group paid ₦402.3 billion in taxes in 2024, emerging as Nigeria’s top taxpayer. Recognized by FIRS for tax compliance, the company, including Dangote Cement and NASCON, continues to drive industrial growth. Chief Branding Officer Anthony Chiejina reaffirmed Dangote’s commitment to economic development and corporate responsibility.

Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) and its subsidiaries contributed ₦402.3 billion in taxes in 2024, cementing their position as the nation’s largest taxpayer. The group, which includes Dangote Cement, NASCON, and Dangote Packaging Limited, was recognized by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as the most tax-compliant corporation in Nigeria.

Anthony Chiejina, Chief Branding and Communication Officer of Dangote Group, highlighted the company’s commitment to fulfilling its tax obligations and engaging in corporate social responsibility (CSR). He emphasized the group’s role in making Nigeria self-sufficient in cement production and refining petroleum products, with ongoing expansion across Africa.

The recognition by FIRS came during the Lagos International Trade Fair, where Dangote’s Bluestar Shipping was also honored for tax compliance. Chiejina reiterated that Dangote Group remains dedicated to Nigeria’s economic growth through industrial development, job creation, and tax contributions.
