Former Chelsea and England striker, Daniel Sturridge, is facing an arrest warrant in the United States for failing to appear in a Los Angeles court regarding an unpaid reward for his missing dog. In July 2019, Sturridge had promised a reward to anyone who could safely return his pet dog, Lucci, after it went missing from his LA residence. Despite the dog being found and returned, Sturridge allegedly did not fulfill his pledge. The arrest warrant now seeks to compel him to address the matter in court. Sturridge, 34, who had a successful career in English football, including playing for Liverpool and Chelsea, is currently without a club and faces legal complications surrounding this unusual case.
