In a heartbreaking incident in Tudun Biri, a community within Kaduna State's Igabi Local Government Area, many villagers are feared dead following an alleged bomb drop by a Nigerian Air Force jet during a Maulud celebration.

Preliminary reports suggest that around 30 people lost their lives during the incident on Sunday at approximately 9:00 pm. Witnesses recount the horrifying moment when the bomb struck while villagers gathered to commemorate Maulud, the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Samuel Aruwan, the Overseeing Commissioner of the State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, refrained from providing casualty figures, announcing a press conference at the Government House later to address the situation. With the NAF yet to comment on the incident, there is apprehension that the death toll may increase.
