In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, the president's special adviser on information and strategy, Tinubu emphasized the need for civility, tolerance, and respect for voters' choices.
The president expressed his confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) ability to conduct a free and fair election. He acknowledged the efforts of the candidates and political parties in running issue-based campaigns that prioritize the needs of Edo residents, such as improving livelihoods and promoting economic development.
