Elon Musk is on track to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027, with his wealth growing at a staggering rate. Tesla's impressive market value and rapid growth support this forecast, with other billionaires like Gautam Adani and business leaders predicted to follow by 2028.
Elon Musk is projected to become the world's first trillionaire by 2027, according to a recent global wealth report by Informa Connect Academy. Currently the richest individual globally, Musk's net worth stands at $251 billion, as reported by Bloomberg. The new analysis highlights that Musk's wealth is expanding at an extraordinary annual rate of 110%, a trend that could lead him to reach trillionaire status in the next three years.
The report, titled "The 2024 Trillion Dollar Club," estimates Tesla’s market value at $669.3 billion, with the company’s growth rate at an impressive 173.3%. This suggests that Tesla could potentially surpass a $1 trillion valuation as soon as next year.
Following Musk, the report anticipates that Indian business magnate Gautam Adani could achieve trillionaire status by 2028, provided his wealth continues to grow at 123% annually. Other notable figures predicted to reach this milestone by 2028 include Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Indonesian tycoon Prajogo Pangetsu.
Additionally, Bernard Arnault, head of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg are expected to reach the trillion-dollar mark by 2030. Meanwhile, major tech companies Microsoft and Apple, valued at $3.4 trillion and $2.5 trillion respectively, have already hit the trillion-dollar mark in recent years.
