The meeting, which began at the Chief of Staff's Conference Room in the State House, Abuja, included representatives from both labor and government. Led by Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the labor delegation also featured key figures from the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) and NLC.
The government team, headed by Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, included prominent officials like Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of Service of the Federation, and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser. The focus of the discussion was not disclosed, as the meeting quickly transitioned into a closed-door session
This meeting follows the cancellation of a previously scheduled discussion last Friday, when organized labor representatives failed to attend.
