Malam Adamu Fika, the former Head of Civil Service of the Federation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum, has passed away at the age of 90. He died on Tuesday night while being transported back to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, where he had gone for medical treatment. The aircraft carrying his remains landed in Kaduna, and his burial is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna, immediately following the Asr prayers, around 4:00 pm.
Fika was a respected figure in Nigerian civil service and played a prominent role in the Arewa Consultative Forum, an influential political and cultural organization in Northern Nigeria.
