Former Super Eagles player Tijani Babangida, his wife, and son are hospitalized following a tragic auto crash on the Kaduna-Zaria Road that claimed the life of his younger brother, Ibrahim Babangida. The accident occurred when Tijani, driving at the time, collided with a moving trailer.
They were en route to Zaria from Kaduna when the collision happened, resulting in Ibrahim's immediate death. Currently receiving treatment at Shika Hospital in Zaria, Tijani and his wife are conscious, while their son's condition remains undisclosed.
The Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) confirmed the accident, urging prayers for Tijani's swift recovery and expressing heartfelt condolences for Ibrahim's untimely passing.
