Nicki Minaj's overseas experience just took a dramatic turn. In a video posted on social media, the diamond-selling rapper was seen being confronted by Dutch police in Amsterdam and demanding a lawyer. The incident reportedly occurred due to suspicion of drug possession, specifically "pre-rolls." The clip, filmed by Minaj, captures the tense exchange, with officers stating, "Because you’re carrying drugs," to which she vehemently responds, "I’m not carrying drugs. I need a lawyer present."

The situation escalated as the officer informed her, "You have to go to the police station […] you are under arrest." Minaj, visibly shocked, asked, "Under arrest for what? I need a lawyer 'cause I don’t know where I’m going." This incident has sparked the hashtag #FREENICKI on social media, with fans expressing their panic and support.

Earlier, Minaj's luggage was subjected to a thorough search by airport authorities, who found something suspicious in her purse. Minaj believes this is part of an effort to sabotage her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, writing in a caption, "They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal."
