  1. Online Registration: Visit the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
  2. Login: Use your username and password to log in to the portal.
  3. Complete the Application: Fill out the online application form in its entirety.
  4. Print Documents: Print a copy of the application form and the Guarantor Form after submitting.
  5. Guarantor Form: Complete this form and have it endorsed by your guarantor.
  6. Submission: Bring printed copies of the application form, Guarantor Form, and all other necessary documents to your state's designated recruitment centre.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Must be a single Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Age Limit: Between 18-22 years for non-trades men/women and up to 26 years for tradesmen/women as of December 18, 2023.
  • Health Standards: According to Nigerian Army standards, applicants should be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • Criminal Record: Must be free of any convictions by a court of law.
  • Required Documents: Valid birth certificate/age declaration, National Identity Card/NIN or BVN, certificate of state of origin, and at least 4 passes in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
  • Height Requirement: Above 1.68 metres for male and 1.65 metres for female candidates.
  • Trade Applicants: Those applying as tradesmen/women must also have a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise, which is scheduled from November 6 to 19, 2023.
