Yesterday, popular social media personality Akah Nani exposed iFitness for deducting yearly dues from his account without prior notice. Today, another customer, Meyi Abu, took to Twitter to voice a similar complaint.
In a tweet directed at @IFitnessng, Abu pleaded, "@IFitnessng, please return my money. This is the second time you people have done this to me. I asked for my card to be taken off your system. I even went to the gym in Abuja, and the lady at the desk told me they had canceled my subscription since 2023, and I shouldn't be debited."
The grievances from both high-profile and ordinary customers highlight a potential issue with iFitness's billing practices, raising concerns about transparency and customer communication.
