Jimmy Odukoya, son of late Taiwo Odukoya and Bimbo Odukoya, has been appointed as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church. The announcement was made during a church service.
Rotimi Okpaise, a pastor, revealed that the late Taiwo Odukoya had discussed the succession plan with the board of trustees (BoT) before his passing. The BoT unanimously elected Jimmy as the senior pastor and chairperson of the board. Jimmy's installation is scheduled for September 30, 2023.
This succession follows the passing of Taiwo Odukoya on August 7, 2023, at the age of 67, less than two years after losing his wife, Nomthi, to cancer in November 2021. Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya were married for 21 years until Bimbo's tragic death in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash in Port Harcourt.
Jimmy Odukoya is not only known for his family's legacy but has also made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as a Nollywood actor and musician. He gained recognition for his role in Netflix's 'Woman King' movie and has appeared in various other films. Additionally, he is a motivational speaker.
