In a widespread show of solidarity, youths from various Nigerian states have staged peaceful protests demanding justice for the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. The demonstrations have gathered momentum as the nation mourns the loss of the talented artist.

In Abeokuta, Ogun State, a group of passionate youths gathered at the Panseke area, converging at the skating ground arena. Clad in black attire and brandishing placards bearing messages like #JusticeforMohbad and #WhoOffLight, they voiced their demands for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's untimely death.

A similar scene unfolded in Delta State, where youths believed to be devoted fans of Mohbad assembled along Effurun Road. With placards in hand, they echoed the calls for justice and answers regarding the singer's demise.

These protests follow an earlier demonstration in Ikorodu, Lagos, where concerned citizens came together to demand justice for the late musician. Mohbad passed away last Tuesday and was laid to rest the following day in Ikorodu. His death has raised questions, with some individuals pointing fingers at Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and the owner of Marlian Records.

Prominent artists have taken to social media to join the chorus of voices seeking justice for the departed music sensation.

Responding to the public outcry, the Lagos State Police Command has pledged to investigate the circumstances of Mohbad's death. On Monday, a special investigation team was inaugurated for this purpose.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has also taken action, directing the state Police Command in collaboration with the Department of State Service (DSS) to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter. In a statement, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, conveyed the governor's sympathy to the bereaved family, friends, fans, and residents affected by Mohbad's tragic passing.

As the nation waits for answers, the resolve of Nigerian youths to seek justice for Mohbad continues to grow, prompting government authorities to take the matter seriously and launch thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding the artist's death
